Ampal gets stake in Colombia ethanol plant

Ampal-American Israel Corp. has signed an agreement making way for the company to acquire a 25-percent stake in an ethanol project in Colombia. Once completed it will be the largest Israeli energy project undertaken in Latin America, company officials said.
