EPA Reaffirms Sugarcane Biofuel Is Advanced Low-Emission Renewable Fuel Sao Paulo, Brazil (SPX) Feb 11, 2010 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed that ethanol made from sugarcane is a low carbon renewable fuel, which can contribute significantly to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
